Welcome to TheConservativeJournal.com – a site dedicated the rantings of a conservative citizen… me!  Through this site I share my views on political matters.   While this site is not hosted by any political party, special interest group, lobby, or other organization you will find that I am conservative on political, social, and economic matters and that I’m not shy about sharing my opinion.

All opinions are welcome here.  While I believe in the First Amendment, I also promote mature and meaningful discourse.  I will not tolerate abusive or vulgar language in posts or comments.  I both enjoy and encourage spirited debate and I think it’s okay to take the proverbial “shot across the bow” of our political personalities.  I do insist that dialog through the comments section be thoughtful and respectful.  Since I’m paying for the server and related technology… I get to be the final arbiter of what is and is not appropriate.
